The ride from Draguignon to Cannes was, all in all, delightful. More of riding through the hills of Provence replete with vineyards, oaks, a few orchards, olive trees, etc. We had many downhill segments with hairpin turns where we got up to 45 kph to 50 kph ( about 30 mph), which is about the limit of our bravery. Finally, the road emptied out onto the beach where we dipped our toes into the Mediterranean. It felt so good that we promptly checked into a hotel and changed into swim suits and really did go swimming. Amazing how that water refreshed us. We only clocked about 70 miles.
