Day 1 Biking Barcelona to San Felieu de Guixols

So we took the train from Barcelona to Sils.  Catching the train was difficult but it we safely made the regional train.  Once in Sils, we were not very adept at finding the trail and in fact made a big loop and ended up at the same train station where we started!  Lol.  Then we got off on a side track as we tried to get over a pass and the clouds dumped buckets of rain on us  We were drench red within moments.  And lightning strikes were too close for comfort.  After poking around trails for two hours a gas station attendant told us to travel on the main freeway for one exit (disobeying clear signs to the contrary) and we could then get on the right trail.  The attendant was correct.  Once over the pass, the rain subsided and by thetime we reached our hotel at the Mediterranean coast, we were dry but much of an our clothing was soaked.  Whew 😅, quite a beginning!
